Also want to add that these governments (including our own) do this intentionally - foisting violent individuals on the population in order to destroy the fabric of society, upset peace and tranquility, and create crisis so they can assert more control. It's violence for the sake of a political agenda, and that is terrorism.

Unfortunately, it is hard to construct a logical counter to that assertion.

This is an astute observation. If accurate, the citizens of the USA and these Western Democracies in Europe have an Earth-shattering choice before them, don't they? Once they realize that the Govt-sponsored terrorism cannot be defeated by voting, the analysis takes an ugly turn.
I do not care to comment on it.
