It’s pretty terrible. I think a lot of people have a pretty strong reaction to the irritating way that certain tech is always pushed as an improvement.
Clearly no tech will ever replace the enjoyment one gets from physically painting or playing an instrument nor the benefits one gains from putting in the time to do those things well.

An apt metaphor; modernity crushing the shape of the past and giving us a sliver of something we really don’t need and telling us it’s human advancement. An ode to consumerism, which unintentionally makes us feel what we are exchanging for technology.

It’s not even the worst Apple commercial. I honestly don’t see the problem here…I expected some usual cringe but all I got was a hydraulic press and some background music.

This is an actually good ad.
You can shite on Apple for certain things, but marketing is not one of them.

You have hit on the brilliance of their strategy. They have a whole bunch of paid people negging the product and useful idiots like the OP amplifying it. Then the average person watches it and while they might not think it is Clio worthy VERY few people will think it is close to the worst ad ever so they end up commenting and effectively knighting for Apple which in turn comes with a little endearment to the brand.
