She has a 'blind spot', as most people do. She missed the sentimentality of the general public as they cling to love in animals (dogs at the fore) given that loving humans is problematic.
Both farmers (most) and DEI Marxists or even women who claim the right to unchallenged abortion are very pragmatic with little room for success re allowing sentimentality. Noem believed that her show of 'I can pull the trigger' strength, given today's increasing potential for violent political combat would be a plus. She missed the shot and the prey ran away. She's done on a national level.

I get that it rural areas we sometimes do things a little different than in other areas. I’ve seen things handled in a way that would bother the sensibilities of others. But there is this thing we call Shoot, Shovel and shut-up. There is a reason for the last one and Noem is finding out the hard way.

I’ve listened to her explanationsin multiple interviews. There were solutions to the problem other than shooting the dog.

Hillary herself is a fricking psychopath that doesn’t comprehend how actual humans think, so you’re not helping things here.
