Will we ever see 100 stolen bases again?

Acuna was "sniffing" it with 73 last season, highest since Jose Reyes had 78 in 2007. Last player to hit 100 was Vince Coleman of the Cardinals in 1987 with 109, his 3rd year in a row breaking the century mark. De La Cruz is on pace to get 89 so far this year.
Power hitting has essentially made Whiteyball obsolete, so it's impressive to even see players approaching 80 stolen bases now.

I think it is within reach for sure. Crazy to think that Rickey Henderson stole 66 bases when he was 39.

Elly De La Cruz might make a serious run at it one of these years

Stealing is much better than bunting, because you don't have to sacrifice a precious out. But since outs are so precious, giving them on a caught stealing is pretty devastating. You've got to have a very high success rate for it to make sense all all, but especially if you steal at the rate you'd need to to get to 100. I'm not sure how many dudes are out there that can do that. But it may be easier with the new rules.
Still, I'm sure it will happen eventually, but unless they change the rules again to make it even easier, I doubt it happens very often. It won't look anything like the 80s again ever. Again, it just doesn't make sense unless you're making it at a very high percentage. Because outs are just so precious to risk giving up on a guy who gets thrown out at a 30% clip or whatever. I just threw 30 out there. Obviously there's a number where it does make sense. I just don't know what it is, and who can sustain that over an entire season. But I'd love to see it. Because I think it would take a super special player.

I think it’ll be rare but not never see it again rare

I think so...
The limits on pitch outs will help base runners
Ultimately I see speed being cheaper than power and some teams will have to go that route to be competitive ..

Rickey Henderson was the GOAT of stealing bases.

Elly has a good shot. 38 games in with 21 already. Just needs to not go flat in thr box which he's doing right now
