Well Dan Crenshaw is winning re-election this November, so he’s not going anywhere any time soon.

This just leads to “our lead isn’t large enough” or we can do it after midterms cause we will have a larger advantage. It’s always something with Rs on why we should wait. Soft as baby shite. Never take a stance always prepping for the next election

Please tell me what vacating the Speaker’s chair will do other than making you feel good. What Republican in their right mind would want that position after seeing two of their colleagues ousted in less than a year?

Trump thrives off chaos since he's not a good politician

Actually, Donald Trump is a very good politician for what has become a stage in American politics when you want your core base riled up as much as possible and believing you’re “The One”.

He saw what Barack Obama did in that arena, and said “I can do that”. And he has. Maybe too well, but he has played the political game for today’s climate like a champ.

Whether that’s good or bad for the right/conservative movement, or the country as a whole, longterm remains to be seen.

A lot of frustration but some of our baws give the impression they’d just as soon go out in a blaze of glory making a statement of some type vs. the much slower, methodical approach it’s probably going to take if America First principles are to ever have a chance of ultimately prevailing.

Right now, only 11 GOP votes isn’t indicative of a strong position to be dealing from.

No-one is interested in/likes to hear “long game” but that’s exactly how the global Leftists have ultimately taken over and it’s probably how things are going to have to be taken back. I’m not sure at this point if we have the patience that the Left did while they were getting shite in place at the grassroots level.

Blowing it the hell up right now at this stage wouldn’t result in a rebirth of our
Constitutional Republic but would instead give birth to the unchallenged authoritarian global entity they are working hard to establish.

It appears that Trump learned a good bit in his four years in office. It appears he has learned that fighting for the sake of fighting is useless and that it is smart that you have to govern within the rules in order to make changes that work for the American people.

Some "baws" on this board need to learn that same lesson...

who can be an effective Speaker of the House with such a slim majority?

When are you people going to understand? We don't need an effective Speaker right now. We need a Speaker that will not Rubber Stamp everything the Dems want. His FISA vote, the deciding vote at that, is what broke the camels back for me. The Dems vote for things detrimental to American's every day. I would not expect the Republican Speaker to do the same.
