Baw, have you never been around an aggressive rooster?

I have felt genuine sadness, appreciation, and respect in all the times I've had to take the life of a mammal - whether I raised or hunted them. I do not give a single frick about wringing a chicken's neck and dressing them immediately.

It's a fricking chicken. That thing will eventually be in someone's KFC bucket.

I mean the chicken clearly started it. But just wring its neck and be done with it

At their best a Rooster is a sketchy unstable bastard that will snap and go off at any time. Most of the time they attack for no reason. I got spurred above my right eye when I was 5 years old. Biggest mistake ole boy ever made. Dude lived as long as it took my Dad to get his 12 gauge from the house.

Large birds can be some over confident assholes.

They put wayyy too much stock in their whole wing flapping bit, which can be intimidating but lacks real effect. Just run through it and punch, kick or grab by the neck.

Never forget, birds are basically mini-dinosaurs. Just because they're tasty, doesn't mean they can't and won't frick you up if you underestimate them. Especially roosters, they can be real dicks which is why the British called them cocks and it has stuck ever since.

Yup.
Well, cockerels first.

If roosters were man sized they'd hunt us like raptors.

Is she the governor of a rectangle state in the northern part of the country?

Asking for my liberal friends.

Our rooster got it in his head one day that he hated my wife. From that moment on, if she was in sight he was in attack mode. He was in the pecking order stage, he tried it with me, he got a boot and we've been cool since.

So I tell my wife, you're gonna have to kick his arse and he will back off. Well, my wife isn't super coordinated, he squared up on her and she went to kick him in the chest. She missed and kicked him square in the head, then she did it again, and then one more time.

His arse was stumbling around, his waddle turned white, he was punch drunk.

Hasn't squared up on anyone since though

Better than the rooster deserved, I'm sure.
