Agreed. He is so fixated on saying Kling has had 2 seasons against SEC pitching that he can’t even realize the kid doesn’t even have a full seasons worth of plate appearances yet. In his eyes, guys aren’t allowed to improve. The numbers since April show Kling is improving which makes sense as he is getting more experience. Not really sure why he is having such a hard time understanding this.
Plus I also think CJJ was putting too much pressure on him putting him in the leadoff spot. I actually think he is going to do pretty good in the 8 hole and if not, well at least we have a better defender at one of the most important positions in the field.
