Looking at his post history he doesn’t get much apparently. Other than finding a way to shite on the same players as nauseam.

Soooo basically the same OBP as
Jobert and Thompson their first seasons in the SEC??? I mean Jobert only had 93 at bats his first season in the SEC so that seems like a good comp to Klings 92 at bats in “2 years” #girlmath

Since April 1st SEC Games :

Kling (.242/.375/.394)

8-33
5 2B
7 BB / 12K

Pearson (.218/.342./406)

7-32
3 2B
1 hr
6bb / 9K

But Pearson just has “it” & is Mr Clutch & is gonna hit in the middle of lineup

Ifs and buts don’t mean a thing.

IF we had a catcher that hit .400, 30 hrs, and was a future MLB all-star, I’d take him.

Why do you keep using this “it” thing in all of these posts referring to multiple players?

Another point they made is in 2009 natty season when Austin Nola was a freshman he hit .240 and all the Tiger naysayers dissed him but we don’t win Natl Championship without his defense.
The jist of the story is both Kling and Milazzo defense is worth them not hitting bombs all the time. Thompson doesn’t believe we win next two series with out them

Your statement is very similar to the one I made that you are criticizing.

He’s defense vs Offense wins games
We don’t win Sat game vs AM if Kling doesn’t run down that rocket

Kling was also leading off when we were playing the cupcakes pre-SEC. The stats are misleading.

The point Thompson was making is their high level defense makes up for a weaker bat. Especially at important positions like catcher and centerfield.
Example is would you rather Braswell have 20 pt lower BA and not lead SEC in errors??

Because imperfect players that have “it” should be lineup linchpins while imperfect players that don’t have “it” shouid never play. It’s not that complicated

You call Kling getting on base at a .298 rate a high clip? Why would you alternate Neal hitting .132 in SEC play alternating with Travinski at DH....are u serious?

I see that you're an idiot in every thread. He is 40% OB.

There is nothing wrong Brady getting more swings rn. He is swinging a good bat.

It’s baseball. A batter’s primary job (especially at lead-off) is to get on base.

Kling does it better than anyone on the team with at least 100 AB’s , except for Jones and Neal.

Below average hitters can still be great baseball players. He’s a net plus for the team.

Yes, he has it. It is starting during non sec play and getting hit and walked sub par pitching. He sucks vs the sec.

He’s very clearly been one of the 3 best OF’ers over the last month + a week

But yea why would we want the best players to play

No an idiot posts Kling gets on base 405 f the time but doesnt realize that SEC games are more important than midweek games and in SEC games Kling gets on base 29% of the time and Neal is hitting .132.

Yea we need .170 hitters in the lineup. And you wonder why LSU is 9-15 in the SEC.

Here are our outfielders in SEC play

Larson .365
Bingham .227
Frey .208
Brown .125
Pearson .243
Kling .170

Now you tell me what exactly we’re losing by playing Kling instead of someone else who isn’t hitting. I’ll hand up and listen. And we’ll even ignore Kling had been much better the last month since you refuse to acknowledge that.

Frey isn’t healthy enough to play outfield right now and Bingham’s OBP is worse than Kling’s. He's also 3 for his last 27 in SEC play with 10 Ks and just 1 BB on top of bad defense. He was benched for a reason. That leaves Brown who’s been the worst of all of them. Or there is one other option, Neal, but you hate him too
