As I understand, this son of the KKK leader was/is genetically male. Is that correct?

Then declares to be transgender.

Then marries a female, right? HOPEFULLY "they" doesn't reproduce.

Now people have to refer to the person as "they"?

That's where I get all confused. "They" is plural so the original person is now two people, right? How does that apply to the rest of life's requirements? "They" have to pay taxes twice"

As if "their" life wasn't already fricked up enough.

What are the odds that this person survives to 80 years?

A lot of times trans men marry men and trans women marry women because in reality a trans man is a woman and a trans woman is a man. They (the correct plural usage of they) just want to be a part of something and they would be whatever the current fad, social contagion, is.

”their”…"they"

Articles about trans using this always give a headache. The writer goes out of his or her way to use “they” for the trans more than he or she would have been used for normals, and in many of the articles “they” is also used correctly as a plural pronoun.
