Pretty stunning that in a city as musically diverse as Atlanta they fell off this hard. Meanwhile Shaky Knees continues to grow, good for rock fans awful for fans of other genres though in the city

I saw Crosby stills and Nash in 2003 and Tom Petty and John Fogerty there in 2005. With a bunch of others that weren’t as important. Was in highschool and lied about my whereabouts. Good times.

I think that's about when Cooley and Conlon stopped managing/promoting it and it slowly went downhill after that. The lineups for the last couple years it's been held were not great.

My last time was in 2004, then i moved out of the state. I remember seeing foo fighters, steve miller band, george clinton and parliament funkadelics, offspring, lil john and the eastside boys, and journey.

Festival has been trash for 10 years. Lot of great memories from MM in the late 90s an early 2000s though
