So its a reboot and not a sequel?
Over analyzation... Opening scene... So everyone has smart phones in the rodeo crowd but nobody checks weather ahead of time that storms were forecast? So lets go sit outside in a stadium with impending severe weather. Right.

What made the first movie good is it was just enough to the red line without it being over the top.

The science in this movie will be entirely inaccurate to the point of annoying me. That said, I’ll definitely go see it.

I would typically be very apprehensive about this and would not want this movie to be made because of how highly I regard the original. But for some reason I say, what the hell, I am in. Take my money.

Looks good and I will go see it. Just don't understand why they keep rebooting movies instead of making sequels. Even if the characters are different, why remake the same story when you can add to it with a second story?
