He basically was starting a quasi cult offshoot from LDS church. Meets another wack job who may have killed her previous husband.

Within months her brother kills her current husband allegedly in self defense. Daybells wife dies mysteriously. They get married 2 weeks after his wife's death.

her 2 kids aren't seen for quite a while including a 7 year old autistic son. A relative requests a wellness check and rhey lie and say the boy was with a friend in AZ. Months go by nobody sees the kids. They don't appear to be even trying to find them.

Her brother who shot and killed her husband does mysteriously.

Eventually both children's bodies are found on Chad Daybells property.

Wackjob new wife already convicted of murder.

Now Chad is on trial.

It's likely they had the brother kill the two kids before he himself died.

A lot more to it but it's wild.
