We are pretty sure that there is rotting construction debris under there, and when a heavy tree trimming truck ran over it, the weight collapsed that section. He's definitely going to look at it carefully after they get the old concrete up.

That is why most drivers of heavy trucks won't cross the sidewalk since they risk damaging walkways or driveways.

Once removed, tell us what's under it. Sometimes a tree stump that wasn't removed.
