Anything in particular I should be on the lookout for to ensure they are doing the job right? Pretty reputable company here in Georgia, but just want to make sure.

Do you know the reason why the driveway failed in the first place?

That's a pretty bad fail. For it to crack and be depressed like that looks like some type water issue undermining the slab.

That needs to be looked at carefully, and addressed before the pour is my take.

What's this costing you out of curiosity? I have to get a similar job done soon.

Spend the extra 40$ and throw a piece of 2"pipe 18" deep in there. Never know when you'll want to run electrical or water thru there.

Crap like this makes me just want to have a gravel driveway the rest of my life. Cement is up there with carpet for me.

So one of the workers connected to the outlet that was on my deck to use their saw. He tracked concrete from his shoes onto the deck. No big deal I thought, I would just hose it off the next day. Nope, That didn’t work. Pressure washed it yesterday. Nope, that didn’t work. Should I call the concrete dude and ask him to get it cleaned?

If not, I guess I’ll try TSP or something similar with a brush? I just stained the deck in March.

What’s irritating is they could have easily used the outlet on my front porch, which is brick and concrete.
