There are 10 DT's on the roster

Kimo - converted OL
Guillory - good hole plugger
Lee - little production at UF
Breaux - True FR 260 pounds
Washington - JUCO
Johnson - True FR
Hickey - walk-on
August - walk-on
McKinley True FR 270 pounds
Paez - little production at Wisconsin

This ain't a "just coach em up" in one fall camp kind of group. Not that there won't be good players in that group.

You have no idea. There are 3 freshman coming in that could be immediate impact players. McKinley could absolutely be a difference maker from day one. That kid was SEC ready last year.

The sky is falling bullshite after missing out on guys that weren't' stand outs at their current schools is asinine. Almost as asinine as throwing a million fricking dollars at a kid that was average at his previous school.

They will likely slide Shand and Jones inside in situations too. Don't forget that. But yeah, they need at least DTs from portal.

That’s a rough, rough group for 2024 whether they get great coaching or not. The posters not concerned about this unit will be the first to melt if we can’t hold our own against USC.

I think we will see Guillory and Lee as the starters the first few games, with Paez and Shone making the second pair.
I think Shone is going to be an extremely important surprise to the group. If Paez can hold his own then there is your 2 deep.

At that point we need 2 more guys that aren't total liabilities, or any combination of 2 guys to fill out the 3 deep.

An All-American interior D-Line, well it's definitely not that, but can it be competitive against the run enough to give your team a chance to win ? I think so.

For perspective, if not for the second transfer window, the venom poured over the program for the state of interior D-Line wouldn't be nearly as toxic as it is with it.

Teams made due with what the had after the spring for a long time, and LSU will have to do so this year. I don't think its as gloom and doom as some of yall do, that's obvious, but even the teams that went out and bought the players think they needed will still have to practice and go out and play the games.

When it's time for LSU to go play, I think this ragtag group of nobodies might even surprise the worst of you nega-tigers.
