re: How many people have gotten 15 years out of a car/truck?

I sold my Oldsmobile Intrigue in 2015. The car was 15 years old, 229k miles. Bought it new because my GM card rebate took $6k off the price. It needed a new transmission at 79k miles, but after that the maintenance was pretty minimal. I was a bit surprised at what a good car it turned out to be. Oldsmobile went out of business in 2004 when the car was only 4 years old, heh.

I intend to drive my Subaru Outback for 15 years, at least.
