2008 Frontier 224k still gets me around when I need it. It's not my daily driver and it has a few quirks. However I can count on it to get me where I want to go.

I only average about 7k miles a year. My 2019 truck should hopefully last me well past 15 years.

I've got a 9 year old car right now. It's paid off, parked inside, kept clean and looks brand new from the outside, and runs well. I do basic maintenance and enjoy driving it. No reason to give that up for "just something newer".

We burn through ours. 120 on our van, 2019 and a 2019 SUV with 85.

Would love to get 1-3 more years out of each.

2005 Chevy Colorado 3.5L 5 cylinder
240,000 miles
Passed along to daughter. I still keep up the maintenance myself. I had it for the day Saturday for geriatric services and would still drive it anywhere in the country.

I have a 2000 Tundra with 134,000 miles on it.
For many years I either lived about 3 miles from work, or took the train to work so it just flat out sat in my driveway.
I suspect my grandkids will be driving it.

probably needs a new timing belt, but that is a dirty job and about a grand or 2.

It’ll let you know when it’s time. The tensioner finally runs out of adjustment and talks to ya. I’ve done a many of them on the 3.5’s. Parts are cheap, but that balancer bolt can be a bitch. They actually make a special socket for it.

Not quite 15 but I got 13 out of my '04 Chevy Colorado. Bought it new off the lot in 2004 and had it till 2017 when the tranny gave up the ghost 800 miles shy of 300K.

I miss that truck.

2004 Chevy Tahoe with 292,000 miles and still going strong. Changed water pump and heater hoses in past 10 years being the only major repairs besides brakes and battery. Slight oil leak coming from rear main seal but we are about to retire her for a newish model. Hate to give her up.

All the other baseball and soccer moms ask my wife when she's getting a new vehicle blah blah blah. They are riding in 50-80K new vehicles I damn sure know the husband is paying 1200 a month for along with his new truck. Very blessed to have a wife that understands a good vehicle and takes care of it. Will be paying cash on a used model here soon.

17 years on a 2000 Accord. Traded in but only issue was a transmission seal going bad.

Then got 13 years out of a 2010 Accord. Traded in because I didn’t want to spend $1500 on a front end repair that wasn’t easily diagnosed and didn’t want to chase the problem.

I had an 03 Silverado for 12 years and then my son drove it for 3 years. It had about 255K when he traded it in.

My 2006 accord just got new tires Sunday. I got 178000 miles out of the stock clutch. It has 179000 now. It’s needed a steering rack and a few elastomers to fix oil leaks (crank sensor and vtec solenoid) over the years. Great car, I hope to get another 100000 out of it at least. I do have 2 other vehicles but that Honda is the daily.

Currently driving a 20yr old Toyota SUV with just under 150k miles. Plan to drive it until the wheels fall off which according to my mechanic could be quite some time.

I just gave up on my 10 year old car, bought an SUV yesterday.

Nice having one run that long without payments.

My wife’s 2012 Traverse now has around 160k. The 3.6 are known for oil consumption. And the direct injection motors are “dirty”. The key is to keep the oil change and keep it full. I have to add 1/2 qt. between changes. I told her to trade it, but she said she’s gonna drive it awhile longer.
