2009 Jeep Wrangler. Been my daily driver since day one. It’s been incredibly reliable, and not just for a Jeep. I figure I’ll drive it til it becomes unreliable.

Drove a '99 Accord for 17 years and ditched it at 240k miles.

Replaced it five years ago with a 2007 Lexus that now has around 150k miles. I could probably sell it now for close to what I paid for it. Caveat - I work from home since Covid so I have put less than 5k miles a year on her.

I am itching for something new though.

I have a 99 4Runner with 110k miles that still runs great. Not my daily driver anymore but it used to be and I held on to it.

1. Is it 4WD?
2. Would you like to sell it?

I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler that I bought new, so it's 13 years old. Only 96k miles on it though, and 26k of those miles came in the first year of ownership. We don't put a ton of miles on it currently, I would guess we drive it around 200-300 miles per month.

ETA: it still looks great and has had no major issues.

My 2007 4Runner got retired last year. And that was only because the damage couldn't get repaired by anyone because of the age. Had under 200k on it. Would still be driving it, had that delivery truck not hit me.

I bought a used '99 Ford F-150 with 60K miles on it back in 2003. Drove it fourteen years and rolled the odometer over 300,000 miles. Sold it to my older retired neighbor, who is still driving it today. I was a daily driver, he is not. But he has had it seven years now, and it still starts and runs smoothly every time for him.

And just to touch on the financial side of it. I haven't had a car payment since 2002. That's an extra $300-$400 per month I have had for the last 22 years. I think the average car payment today is somewhere near $500/month? Ouch.

Picked up a '94 Camry last year with only 60k miles on it. It's my daily driver unless it's raining. No anti lock brakes makes it pretty exiting to drive on wet roads when someone cuts you off.

wife's daily driver is a '09 Highlander with maybe 214k miles.
I'm driving a '10 Mazda 3 Hatch with 187k miles.

both run fine. My dash is looking a little rough, cracks and dings here and there.

I've gotten 10 three times (all Toyotas), but the latest, the Tacoma, is on year 11 and I don't think it is going to be a problem for the next 4 years.

I got laughed at on the local Reddit when I posted a link to a local dealer with a single-owner 2000 Buick on their lot with 60,000 miles and a clean carfax. Someone was asking advice on a get around town car. I almost went and bought it, great deal.

I just bought my dad's old 2007 Avalanche for a truck to haul a trailer with. So just shy of 15 years but I've been driving it every day for the past couple weeks and love that thing.

Yeah, it sucks not having some of the tech in it, but that thing feels like it's bulletproof. Other than having to keep an eye on how much oil it's going through, it runs like a top. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do, but I have a feeling ill end up driving it way more than I thought I would.
