I did a little calculation. It looks like groceries are 25-30% higher at this Costco versus southern Louisiana.

It's not shocking to me that Canada has higher prices, given they're a more regulatory state, but it's not a huge difference.

Converting kilograms to pounds and Canadian currency to USD, it worked out to about $3.65 a pound for ground beef. How does that compare to here?
