That's perfect.

All that labor to put a counterfeit starter on?.
Amazon is full of junk auto parts, right down to spark plugs.

I put a water pump on an AUDI 2.0T , you have to take off all the electronics, fuel system, intake. Ridiculous. They do this shite on purpose

They aren’t a bad job, just time consuming. I’ve done a few of them on the V-8 Nissans. Once you do one and get familiar, takes about 2 hrs. First one I did that design was on the Northstars years ago. The whole time thinking how dumb it was…

That sux man. Something I learned young about a getting a starter to last a little longer, is to knock it some with a metal hammer. Apparently knocks the build up loose. At least works with older cars, but would think 2017 would have worked too.

Seen this several times from my old man as a young person

Toyota v8 has it under the intake manifold also. Fun times

Yeah, nothing beats having to disconnect a motor mount to swap out a starter. I've only had this fight once, but easily my biggest tundra complaint.

Correct, I was responding to the poster that quoted an Amazon part for much cheaper.

I was just pointing out Amazon's trash parts.

When you buy a lifetime warranty starter it isn't better than the base model, you just pay for 2 right off the bat.

Since the starter is unnerneatdat intake manifold I might’ve taken a chance on a better quality starter.

Get ready when those auto start/stop vehicles need to get their's repaired. The literal first thing I did was disconnect the on/off on the switchboard.

Thar just seems like an awful wide spread in parts price.

I would look very carefully at the replacement if it was that cheap.

I've used Rock Auto, but not in many years.

I couldn't believe Amazon was selling counterfeit sparkplugs, but they were.
