Long sigh

No. I won’t play ping pong with you in your attempt to steer me to the obvious flash point (which is exactly what I was not referring to). I will give you a nugget though: he absolutely incited the events of 1/6…..I watched/listened to it in real time. Is what it is.

Read my posts on the Gator Board on their Poli thread.

Lots of responses, yet not one point of truth that disproves the posted truth

People see what they want to see, not always what they should see.

The reason Trump has so much clout is because he is the only one who is willing to fight back against the Oligarchy.

Did you read this before you posted it?

He IS part of the Oligarchy.

Guy claims he is rich as hell but asks really poor folks to donate.

He whines like a rich kid does when they do not get their way

In my schoolyard we would have laughed at him for being such a pussy.

What about the super fans that believe he's going to fight the deep state? Make necessary changes to an overburdening system? Or really any change at all?

Not the governing Oligarchy. Maybe the private sector, 1% Oligarchy. But D.C. hates him and wants him buried under the jail. Are you blind? Are you just being contrarian because you are bored and want to argue?

No

I am old and know both him and the family from the old days in NYC. His dad was the only non Sicilian Catholic or non Russian Jew in the neighborhood and it was not by chance.

I also knew his mentor better than probably everybody on this site. I suggest you read this to better understand the former POTUS.

Trump is not a conservative. He never was.

He is not a social conservative. He hires whores, was always pro-life until it was politically inconvenient, has no religious values, etc.

He is not a fiscal conservative. He supports increased spending, debt accumulation, and government involvement in industry. He built his empire on subsidies and tax manipulation.

The Republican Party is not a conservative party any longer.

Yeah, we're just sitting here wondering if Joe Biden got 81 million votes and America is doing so great under him, why would the democratic party worry so much about Trump that they pull out all the stops to prevent him from running. We are definitely a strange bunch

If you had a single original thought in your head, it would die from loneliness.

Here's some truth for you, not a single person on this Earth can become POTUS and stop the inevitable outcome, the fall of the US empire.

I agree, next in line are the evangelicals that believe Trump is some beacon of God's virtue. Both sides are oblivious to reality.

The most realistic take is that Trump is a businessman whose ideals (some of which were borrowed from Ron Paul) are a good recipe for America having a more measured domestic and foreign policy going forward.

The current establishment in DC has a sole focus of keeping their own gravy trains rolling in. Whether it be alternative energy initiatives, defense contracts, whatever, they are all bought and paid for by constituencies that answer to the dollar and not the people.

This ^

And unfortunately, given the options, Trump is the only real choice at this point. I don’t think there’s any arguing that.
