And it's not just one day either. If I was in Asia for two weeks and there was only one day we weren't going to use it, no big deal. But there are parts where the cell signal is so poor or we were on the road traveling most of the day it wasn't even worth it.

There are plenty ways to save money when traveling and most of the time the impact that they might have is not great until compounded with other savings.
