Here in Navarre, FL, mine went from $3700 to $7600 on $455k dwelling. I think that's high for a rebuild IMO but guesstimating replacement cost isn't obvious. House is 2140 sqft.

Oh and Flood coverage thru NFIP is another $1k. While in flood zone X.

Coastal living is getting more difficult to justify....

Three years ago I really wanted to live on or near the beach or on a lake. The logistics of lake living was not desirable. Coastal living was too expensive due to housing, insurance and taxes.

I live in the backwoods of Broussard La with all that comes with that...
