Gets you pretty far at Costco .. really the only place I’ve found a Napa Valley Cab that isn’t way overpriced . There was this one Italian wine they used to have at Costco that was freakin amazing but I can’t remember what it was.. was like 25 maybe

Between $10-$20.

I’ve had more expensive wines and honestly can’t tell much difference.

Opus One goes for about $400/bottle nowadays...

My next door neighbor recently lost his wife to cancer and while she was sick and after she passed my girlfriend cooked meals for him. His wife worked for a high-end wine distributor and he gave me four bottles of Opus One to give to her (among other bottles). He said he had 60 total and regretted he and his wife never got around to enjoy them except on very special occasions and now he's giving them all away.

Dinner party where I don’t know the hosts well? 20-30

Dinner party where I know the hosts and we’re close? $100 or more just depending on who is hosting.

I’ve got a bottle of Cab I could sell for $650 in a minute I’m trying to decide what to do with. It’s the last of my bottles from a 2011 batch and I li e the wine, but $650 is $650.

$50-75

Those are for my nightly drinkers.

For "special wines" it is usually $150-300

You could if you had a proper aged wine. 95% of wines aren’t made to age but those 5%? It’s a tasting experience.
