Have to think they want to, but I wonder if it’s one of those situations where they need certain triggers to hit in the legal system so they can cut him for “conduct detrimental” and avoid the future guarantees.

Rice makes pennies. If they don’t cut him, it’s because they want him on the team not money.

The League’s Personal Conduct Policy often supersedes the legal system’s timeline. The NFL now give teams more leeway to place a player on the shelf while the league office figures out the punishment.

The league could easily give KC an eventual out.
