Truly amazing how stupid these guys are even with millions of dollars on the line

Someone posted a college scouting report on him before on here that straight up said he was a bad person. Turned out it was quite accurate.

Have to think they want to, but I wonder if it’s one of those situations where they need certain triggers to hit in the legal system so they can cut him for “conduct detrimental” and avoid the future guarantees.
The League’s Personal Conduct Policy often supersedes the legal system’s timeline. The NFL now give teams more leeway to place a player on the shelf while the league office figures out the punishment.
The league could easily give KC an eventual out.

It’s not that hard staying out of trouble. I just don’t get it

I hear he has been cut as of this evening

From the judges orders, it sounds like the investigation into the crash is looking into his purchase records before it happened so I guess they could still hit him with some kind of under the influence charge.

Rice makes pennies. If they don’t cut him, it’s because they want him on the team not money.
You may be right, but it’s the dead period and him being on the team really doesn’t change much. So why not make sure your bases are covered so you don’t have to pay him the final $1M in guarantees when you do cut him

51 year lifelong Chiefs fan here but I call a spade a spade. Rice is a special kind of stupid. 99.9% of people would love to live the life of a spoiled pro athlete. Now he'll be living the life of us mere mortals feeling that penny pinch from the shite storm world we're living in today. He had a chance to really make a mark on the field & off. Idiot...

Has a mean streak. Sign him.

Is there a NFL version of the Fulmer Cup?
Yes it will be called the Rashee cup. He’s the only one to win it on his own.

According to a police report, Rice was driving a rented Lamborghini SUV at 119 mph while racing friend Teddy Knox, who was driving a Chevy Corvette at more than 90 mph, before losing control and causing the chain reaction crash. Like Rice, Knox faces criminal charges and is named as a defendant in the civil lawsuit.
Two civil lawsuits $10,000,000 & change

Guy had a great situation with the Chiefs. He was balling out last year in his rookie season, ready to take the WR1 role, but it looks like he is gonna throw it all away in his first NFL off-season because he's fricking retarded. Sad.
Yep! Clark Hunt, Veatch and coach Reid need to step up and make the right decision in the next few days.

Some people refuse to learn. Sit in your nice house and play some Xbox or something.

The name of the club where this allegedly happened is called LIT Kitchen. You can’t make this stuff up.
