Almost time for their two-month vacation followed by them complaining in August about having to get the classroom ready a whole week before school starts and how hard of a job it is.

Here we go. The tards have arrived.

When they start assigning my kid homework so I don't have to come up with math for him to practice at night then I'll stop expecting a gift from them.

More than half the time they just stick him in front of a computer to do online learning videos, etc.

My children go to private school. Is their salary not enough?

You do know that private school teachers often make less than public school teachers, right? Catholic school teachers make waaaaay less.

the same OT thinks teachers get paid over the summer
Ackshually, teachers can choose to get paid year round in many instances.

It is nurses appreciation week too. Nurse and teachers should battle it out in jello wrestling for who gets to claim superiority.

What gift(s) did you get your child/childrens teacher(s)

The ability to hold down a job while taking 2 months off in the summer, 2 weeks off for Christmas, a week in fall, a week in the spring, banking holidays and virtual days when the rain is a little too heavy

What's retarded about it? They do get two months off right and then get to go right back to having a full time job with benefits, etc.

Is it cause they aren't paid for it by definition?

They knew that going in right? That they'll make x amount a year.

How bout this, don't complain about your job, you chose it. Don't like it, get another.

Like a mechanic complaining about getting greasy everyday.

Obviously some butt hurt teachers in here. Been hanging around females too much and taking on their traits.

My sister is a teacher and my mom was. Haven't really talked to my sister since covid and her whining and bitching . Got paid for like over half a year off and then had the audacity to complain constantly about having to go back due to her safety being exposed to kids that might be sick.

Meanwhile my wife and I worked all through covid.

OT is right, teachers are some whiny bitches.

Well. Chick filet gift cards or many Cracker Barrel or Texas Road house.
Like to give them enough for a family outing.

Hats off to the Amish elementary school teachers who's students are among the top performers in the state of PA. They are only junior high and high school girls, but they do a great job well beyond our educrats.
