OKC is too young playoff experience wise.

Yes, and that includes the coach. He had a 10 point lead and let Mavs back in before calling timeout. They ended up with 16-0 run. Young players went over 4 minutes without scoring. You had Chet to get ball to or SGA drive but they settled for outside shots in that stretch. More experienced players would have driven the ball.

Another thing, players are being too unselfish. Passing up open 3’s to make another pass and end up with bad or rushed shot. Did that many times.

All that went wrong and they had a chance to tie until that jump ball was called. That was game. But I expect them to play better on Mon. Ideally they keep Giddey on bench along with Hayward. Start Wiggins maybe.

Giddey does not need to play another minute in this series.

I missed the first half last night but what was the issue with him?

He shot 50% had a couple of Rebs and an assist, but everyone on Twitter is saying the same thing

Also, what about the Luka kick? This sequence was a huge late game turning point as Mavs got ball and scored.

When SGA was out Giddey stepped up more than anyone, he was around 20/7/7 for that 7-8 game stretch.

Giddey is a really good player. But he’s young. And he doesn’t match up well with Mavs. He has value against most teams but his plus/minus is minus vs Mavs.

Luka’s knee might be a big problem. Curious how he looks tonight, but rumors out of Dallas aren’t looking good.

OKC rarely lose 3 in a row, they even it up and steal home court back in a best of 3.

TV wants a long series, so word is out to the refs.

Agreed.

Their ownership group tried to steal the Pelicans after Katrina, stole the Sonics from Seattle (an objectively better city to have an NBA franchise), and are just general shite bags. It's such a terrible franchise that they have a fricking truck stop logo on their jerseys.

Shame Gilgeous is one of the biggest floppers in the NBA, Chet looks like a cro magnon version of Abe Lincoln and is charmin soft, and their what a pro wants commercial is one of the worst abominations of 2024.

Giddey is a poor man’s Wally Szczerbiak. In fact, Giddey makes Szczerbiak look like Michael Jordan. Both Giddey and Szczerbiak were selected 6th overall. Sam Presti should be fired based solely on that.

I’m afraid this series big stage is too big for OKC HC.

He had a chance to start someone who could contribute to the start but stuck with Giddey. Spotted Mavs another huge early lead. Likely not coming back barring a miracle.

Mavs will likely win but holy shot all they do is complain! Unwatchable team. They must take classes on whining.

You've said this all thread for 6 days...and literally everybody else has said the same thing about OKC.

Meanwhile OKC has been called for half the fouls and has nearly triple the FTs that Dallas has.
