That might do it. You can’t go 4 minutes without scoring and win. Was 65-55 OKC now 65-71 Mavs.

Not over yet but Mavs have done great job on defense. The rebound difference is the game. Mavs have 13 more shots and 18 more boards. And when OKC had the 10 point lead coach never called TO when Mavs made their run.

Percentage wise the game 3 winner wins series. But if OKC gets any one of these 2 road games its best of 3 with 2 at home.

This was called a shooting foul lol. Did he even touch him? I can’t see it.

If Dallas fricks up and loses this game it's all because of shitty free throw shooting

OKC is being outcoached. Not having Joe in but has rookie Wallace in is horrible.

He puts Joe in after TO and Joe makes a 3.

But why is HC doing hack a Lively? I hate that strategy. At that point you’ve lost. Its not pure basketball to me and I just think its a bad way to play. Even if it works I hate it. Cheapens the game

Chet has hit the rookie wall at the worst time.

There has been some horrible calls in this game. Mavs got 3 points on the bogus foul on Luka first half. Then the 2 points on the bogus call next to basket. Thats 5 gifted points.

But OKC had plenty of chances to win this game and didn’t. Can’t get out boarded so badly. And some of the players used at wrong times. Taking Chet out when he said he was ok and Mavs dunked on next possession. Not calling TO when up by 10 and Mavs going on a run to lead by 1.

If OKC gets back to basics they should win game 4. They really played bad today and still had a chance to win it. PJ won’t keep making so many 3’s either.

Mavs are more unlikeable due to Luka whining from start to finish. He is unwatchable.

Here’s the “jump” ball play. Was huge too as Mavs got ball and scored. But even with shenanigans OKC still almost won.

Coach did not coach well at all, his first ever playoffs are showing. He needs to settle on 3 or 4 bench players vice 6. Let them get time to get in sync.

Luka whines, no doubt. He also is getting fricking manhandled. Meanwhile...the entire Thunder roster flops on defense and offense. None of them are getting fricking battered out there like Luka currently is. There is no team in the history of the sport that's taken more advantage of the way the refs call fouls than this years Thunder. It makes them borderline unwatchable and severely unlikeable.

Stats don’t back this up. Here’s the stat:

“We gotta stop this, 'Luka doesn't get calls,' stuff. He's 3rd in total free throws attempted and 4th in free throws attempted per game since he came into the league in 2018.

The only guards in the 3-point era of NBA history to shoot more free throws than him in their first 400 games are Michael Jordan, Dwyane Wade, and Allen Iverson (all guards who didn't really shoot 3's)”

He’s playing 11 players a game when most teams play 8, with 3 bench players rotating in. Playing too many means the players never get a feel for the game due to limited minutes.

For example, Hayward can help pace games in reg season but adds zero to playoffs. He’s not going to shoot so becomes a corner statue and this allows Mavs to cover 4 with 5. He has yet to score and played in all 3 games. Mavs are using those minutes to their advantage.

Not impressed with OKC at all. Luka is clearly playing at about 60%. By his standard he has been awful during the playoffs. Kyrie had one spurt today and that’s about it. And despite all this OKC, the top seed in the west, is still down 2-1. I thought they would beat Dallas in 5. Wrong.

OKC is too young playoff experience wise.
