maybe I'm not the smartest guy. But let's say my GPA is a 3.0 and I have an A in that class. Wouldn't that increase my GPA if he reported that grade?

I think with this scheme you would get your A. It would just be delayed on being on the school transcript. That would be a major pain for administration
