A friend of my family got a room there for his visiting fiancé and she freaked out.

As a joke?

Hopefully she accurately saw that as a sign her fiancé is a hardcore dumbass who doesn’t give a shite about her well being. For her sake, I hope she has moved on and found a better man.

Stay away from Downtown and spend all of your time as close to and on the LSU campus.

"Good Enough" restaurants right off the Campos. (The Chimes.)

You absolutely don't want to spend any time driving around anywhere in Baton Rouge.

Get in close to LSU. Park. Have your LSU fun, then get out as quickly as possible afterwards!

BTW, I'd absolutely try to book a room at Lod Cook Hotel right on Campus.....

Condo in pointe Marie, rosemary point, a couple blocks from laberge casino, Lou 8 miles down river road. That is the fee parking area of river road, but I think laberge may have transfer to game.

Planning on doing airbnb or VRBO

Why do people stay in these places versus a hotel? It's retarded.

We did a VRBO for my bachelor trip because it was $1000 cheaper than a hotel for eight of us. We made due.

They're definitely cheaper for larger parties and some of those properties are pretty fun.

Age, what level of game and who are you bringing? If wife, the board requires pics.

Seriously though,... We come down from Michigan for most home games and do it different based on each of those variables.

Depending on if we fly in to New Orleans or Houston, decides our Sunday. IAH is typically a quarter of the cost of MSY from Detroit. Bringing kids and grand kids usually means IAH.
