As has been noted here earlier, the president of Columbia is a Muslim & she repeatedly, during her grilling at a Congressional hearing, refused to say that there were "antisemitic protests " on campus. Rather, there were "incidents" of antisemitism on campus. As a private school, NYPD could not intervene on campus unless specifically invited by the school's administration. Which explains why there was an escalation of the "incidents".

Karma is a bitch. Many federal judges have notified Columbia Univ that they will no longer hire Columbia grads as law clerks. This is what happens when you do stupid things without considering the consequences.
