We live just southwest of Henagar in Sylvania. We are out of town now watching online. Ambulance service has been called out for traumatic injuries in Henagar.

That was my assumption. Idk what he’s talking about from an actual radar standpoint. I’ll defer to an expert but this thing has only been radar indicated and nothing confirmed for the last hour now.

It takes knowing that area and what it is capable of. While I don't think it was worse than the first tornado, it was most likely on the ground at points. I'm telling you, that area is a weird place for storms/tornadoes. There's a reason it has spurred large scale research projects. Brad has been working it for 20+ years now.

Thankful we didn’t see any bad damage tonight. 3 rotating storms over my house tonight. As far as I can tell just small limbs down. If I can figure out how to post a video a guy I know has a video of maybe funnel or wall cloud over my house and I’ve got him to send it to me.

Henagar has major damage. My wife’s coworker has family missing and their home is gone. Last time they talked to them they were talking about heading to the storm shelter so hopefully that’s where they are and can’t get in touch with them due to service being down.

Andy Hill on Ryan Halls feed is repeatedly complaining that there's multiple unwarned tornadoes north of Memphis crossing the river and doesn't understand why NWS hasn't issued a warning. Says they have been going on for 10+ minutes

Idk how credible his thoughts are but he's brought it up 2-3 times now

Now he says "probably a strong" tornado just Northwest of Millington, TN right at the radar site

Idk what to say, I'm no fan of NWS Memphis but this has been going on for like 20 minutes+ at this point I can't believe they would miss this for this long if it is as serious as Andy Hill is suggesting. Nothing they are showing on radar is that impressive to me I mean there's some small velocity
Couplets but nothing crazy

EDIT: Hall himself just said this radar presentation is "100% of the time given a tornado warning" and Hill just chimed back in and said the severe thunderstorm warning doesn't even have the "tornado possible tag" and that they will have to send storm surveyors out to these areas to figure this out. He is VERY sure that there are multiple unwarned tornadoes in the area

I see they removed the Tornado Watch for North Alabama. Do y’all think this will stay that way, or is there a high risk for severe weather and tornadoes still?

I'll put the disclaimer on this that I'm exhausted but I think the major tornado threat is over for Alabama and there certainly won't be any until this main line starts to move through in the early morning hours (in think like 5-7 am?).

Even then way more of a wind and hail threat than tornado but of course the possibility is there

I'll just put it this way, there's a reason they are sitting where they are and neither of them are on the warning desk at any NWS office.

They have no skin in the game and really answer to no one.

Yea I hear you but I did figure Halls feed is well enough known if they went on and on about it like they did they would catch a little flack but of course no where near the attention the NWS would get for missing them

The original tornado watch was valid through 11pm, maybe midnight, so it expired. They never issued another or extended that one. The only active tornado watch in AL is for NE AL through 4am, and I'm surprised they haven't trimmed out some of those counties.

That said, we may see another watch depending on how the line currently in NW TN trends. I wouldn't be surprised either way. Just have a way to get a warning that will wake you up.

That book has another page. I've watched them miss blatant shite and even question NWS warnings. It is what it is.

ETA: Going back 30 frames I don't see anything that jumps off the screen.
