Looking at taking a trip to Vermont in the fall with the better half. What’s the best, scenic, pictureseqe town to stay in? Any recommendations on places to go and things to do? Restaurants? Hikes? Shops? Breweries?

Stowe, Woodstock, and Burlington

Hike Stowe Pinnacle. There are a lot of threads on restaurants in Vermont but a few to look at are:

Doc Ponds
Hen of the Wood
Michael’s on the Hill
Prohibition Pig
Worthy Kitchen

There are so many breweries worth going to it’s hard to list them all, but a few notables include:

Hill Farmstead
Burlington Beer Co.
Foam
Von Trapp
Idletyme
Alchemist

Fly into Burlington and explore all around there. Middlebury and Stowe as others have mentioned. Texas Falls is a good hike with a nice scenic drive.
