A few more items from MTG and Massie:

Thomas Massie
@RepThomasMassie
How much more do Republicans need to see to understand Johnson is fully compromised? Democrat Congressman Jerrold Nadler endorses saving Mike Johnson as Speaker.
“We should save him”
“We can’t permit him to be punished for doing the right thing”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene????
@RepMTG
Threatening members of Congress with punishment for voting as a conservative is absurd.

If Mike Johnson stopped bringing Democrat bills to the floor, he wouldn’t have this problem.

With threats like these, he’ll lose more Republican members’ support.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene????
@RepMTG
The entire Democrat Party is lining up behind Mike Johnson.

First, it was the entire leadership team for the Democrats.

Now, Nancy Pelosi, who impeached President Trump TWICE, has given Johnson her seal of approval.

What deal has been made??

Thomas Massie
@RepThomasMassie
Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries gloats that Democrats control the House of Representatives under Mike Johnson, yet some of my Republican colleagues want to continue business as usual for the rest of the year.

Obligatory 'muh margin'
Attack Helicopter 1776
@AttackCopter76
@RepThomasMassie
can you point to a time in history a speaker with this slim of a majority actually got something done.

You say majority as if the speaker has a 20-30 vote majority which is clearly not the case. It literally is get 99.9% of GOP to agree or nothing gets done.

Massie responds
Thomas Massie
@RepThomasMassie
His talking point doesn’t match the facts. Regardless of the slimness of our majority, why should spending increase, why should we build the FBI a new HQ, and why should warrantless spying be authorized? This isn’t “getting nothing done”; this our Speaker doing their bidding.

Mike Johnson will be the worst, most damaging Republican Speaker in modern history.

He’s got the full protection of the Democrats, the Pentagon, and the intelligence agencies so long as he does their bidding and he intends to do so.

Johnson is my Congressman and I'm truly shocked and disappointed with him. At this point, he's lost my vote. However, the Dems are playing 3D chess and many of you are falling for it. They would love nothing more than for MTG and Massie to call for a motion to vacate in the summer of a Presidential election year. The Dem "support" of Johnson is strategic. It's to sow discord in the GOP. No way the Dems save Johnson just like they broke their promise to save McCarthy. MTG and Massie need to let the election year play out. If the Republicans win the House again, which is not likely, Johnson can be replaced then. No reason to turn the House over to Jeffries before November.

In politics, if you go for the man, then you better take down the man. Because if he survives the assault the leaders of the assault are now marked people.

Politics is not about fairness or principles, it's about power.

If MTG and Massie fail, then they must pay a price for that failure.

Ngl I'd threaten MTG to a good time. Oh wait she's not talking about that

Mike Johnson has gone from good guy to I don't want to see his name. Cassidy definitely turned his back but didn't seem as crazy as this. (I could be wrong)

It's like the never go full retard quote except replace it with Democrat ....Mike ya done messed up

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but people like her are the problem. When you refuse to agree with anyone, there is no coalition and there is no majority. So it forces the leaders to coalesce around groups that can be cohesive.

Why can’t republicans pass a bill about the border?
Why can’t republicans pass a bill to cut taxes?
Why can’t republicans cut spending?

Republicans are the majority. Without blaming someone else, the only reason they can’t do these things is because they can’t work together.

MTG hasn’t filed a balanced budget bill. Massie hasn’t filed an immigration bill. They don’t want to fix things. They aren’t serious people.

Initially, Trump only got my vote as a stick in the spokes of the GOP machine and this is yet another of MANY examples why.

The republican party is NOT a conservative party nor are they an opposition party. Go ahead and tick down the list of "fruit loops" ostracized out of the mainstream of that party over the decades and how right they wound up being in retrospect. Reagan was an outlaw. Ron Paul was mocked and derided. Pat Buchanan doesn't look so crazy anymore.

To have any chance of anything resembling conservative governance on a national level, the GOP has to DIE completely.

Republicans must all bow down to their new leader, Marge Green. Whatever she wants.

BTW, what DOES she want? She’s never put forward a single policy proposal. She complains and obstructs, but doesn’t follow with any policy. If you are following Marge Green, where is she leading you?

Johnson is the fool, this fall dems will point to him and the right for the condition of the country.

The dems control the house now let them lead it and take the blame. The only difference would be less strongly worded letters from the GOPe.
