Trump is going to pick the most swamp motherfricker out there. Why? Because he trusts the wrong people

Does he?

I've seen a lot of conjecture from "insiders" making social media posts implying that this is the case, but it seems like I recall Trump saying something along the lines of "don't believe it unless you hear it from me".

Rubio would be a TERRIBLE choice right along the lines of Nimrata or Gabbard. Plus, Trump and liddle Marco both reside in Florida, so there's that.

It’s not really about Florida. It’s more about Arizona and Nevada which both have a massive Latino vote that he has to win

Rubio is on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence which means he has been in on everything that has been thrown at Trump. The SSCI is the link between the blob and the legislative branch. Rubio has chosen to go along with the ruse and Trump knows this.

It has to do with electors. If both running mates are say Florida in this case then they cannot BY LAW cast their vote for them. They would lose the complete vote for that state.

Dick Cheney and George Bush both lived in Texas. Dick Cheney changed his address to one of his other 18 houses in different states.

Or more likely, Rubio is a pawn of the Deep State and looking to control Trump.

There is no law against it, but they won't be able to get an electoral voters from Florida, which means it won't happen.

The 12 Amendment was read wrong. There is no restriction due to electoral College votes .

Just a quick search. No idea if that's correct or there's a way around it

LINK

ummmm

The 12th Amendment, adopted in 1804 after two chaotic elections, mandated that electors cast separate ballots for president and vice president. However, the rule preventing an elector from voting for two people from his home state remained in effect under the new system.

Technically, he can run, but he cannot get the Electoral votes from Florida

Rubio is a neocon warmonger with no spine.

He’s the absolute wrong choice

He’ll be El Penco

ETA - I’m not all the way sure he speaks Spanish - but I perhaps have him confused with Cruz

plus - WTAF is this obsession with taking republicans out of congress???

I just don't see him picking either Rubio or DeSantis from the "work arounds" required with them being from FL when he is already dealing with these court cases. The more this goes on, I think he is going to go with Tim Scott...not my fav pick however in a baseball game, not a home run but he'd be a solid double.
