You can adjust those hinges OP. The above with the air shim is a great post. Here’s the issue though, if it’s only been a year they may have made that gap between the glass panels too small. I had this issue in a previous home, they only fabricated the gap to be under 1/4. As said those panels are very heavy, depending on the movement they aren’t hard to adjust just heavy and if your gap is very small you are only talking a really small adjustment. It may take a glass professional to do it is what I mean. It’s much better to have a slightly larger gap and have a plastic strip that seals the gap. That way you have more room for adjustment.
