That's why they dehumanize the unborn (fetus, blob of cells, tissue). Easier to not care about them as humans.

Ehhh a slave is literally a walking, talking, thinking individual with personal agency. By no possible definition is a “clump of cells” a person. If you want to make the argument that they could potentially become a person, I’d buy that, but that opens up other problematic doors too.
