Will be end of July and will be 3 full days, Friday through Sunday. Going to a concert Saturday evening so will prob stay downtown Denver all day Saturday but open to shorter road trips if needed for Friday and Sunday.
I am thinking one day at Rocky Mountain National Park, and another maybe doing Pikes Peak and/or garden of the gods. Also open to white water rafting if possible. I'm not committed to anything other than the concert Sat night and just looking for any tips or suggestions of can't miss things from people more familiar with the area. Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat. Going this week for a show at Red Rocks. I know we're going to Meow Wolf's Convergence Station and some beer spa. Looking for other suggestions. We're staying at The Oxford Hotel downtown.

Royal Arch Trail and Green Mountain West Ridge Trail are both amazing, and near Boulder.
On a side note, we just went to A Perfect Circle at Red Rocks and Boulder was amazing, very clean and our hotel was probably the best kept and clean we've ever stayed.

Don’t stay in downtown for any extended period, Union station is cleaned up and mcgregor square is fun before a Rockies game but downtown is a mess of bums and construction right now.

Rocky Mountain National Park
Is awesome. One day would be good to see the sights.
Get an entry permit through recreation.gov on June 1 for July entry

I'm glad you ask this. I will be there in June for 7 days and I plan on splitting time between Colorado springs, Denver, and Moab UT. I'll be following this thread
Thanks
Thanks

Heading to Estes Park May 21-27. Plan on mostly just hiking and sightseeing in RMNP and surrounding areas.
Can’t wait.
FYI: May 24th and beyond you will need a timed entry pass plus regular ticket to access RMNP.

In Denver, its worth a trip down East Colfax to grab some Voodoo Donuts. Fat Shack is also a guilty pleasure of mine. We used to go out downtown 10ish years ago. Herbs was my fav spot. If you dont want an all day activity, id recommend the Flat Irons in Boulder for a hike. Boulder is just a fun visit either way. I like Golden as well. Do a Coors tour and eat at Bobs Atomic Burgers. Vail is a nice day trip

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
about 15 min drive to 20 min from Denver. Gorgeous, fresh air, beautiful views and maybe catch some music.
Visit : Blue Bear if into architecture 40-foot-tall sculpture peers curiously into the building, convention center.
Larimer Square- shopping/ dinning
Meow Wolf- local vendors, libations, bites, art, different cultures.
The Argo Mill and Tunnel + Idaho Springs / Clear Creek: adventures , mines, sights, water rafting , zip lines, ATV , fly fish plus other parks and recreation.
Have fun and take plenty of memories
