Just saw a sign on the door saying it's closed. Couldn't see if they relocated or what. There was a banner say Savy Sliders Coming Soon.

I thought I saw somewhere not long ago that they were opening another location in Metairie.

I have been there. I guess it is a fun place for kids to go to. The pizza was not bad but it is far from being the best around.

You got to sling a lot of pizza to afford that rent. Same with Shipleys donuts. Overhead has got to be killer.

This. I might could see the draw if you wanted to take your family with kids to eat there, but pizza is average.

I wonder if they're gonna be a shared restaurant? Pizza and sliders

It's better than places like Italian Pie and Isabella's. I know that's not saying much, but those places survive.

Going to be a dual concept. Somehow a worse idea than a crappy pizza restaurant. Place is probably hemorrhaging money with the bad pizza and bad parking. More money than sense

Parking has got to be killing them. Their patio also isn’t exactly enticing that’s it’s a mere 6’ from busy Metairie Rd.

I never saw the place empty though. It always seemed to have a decent amount of traffic and it didn’t occupy a ton of square footage. Pizza is ok. Better than your average delivery but not close to gourmet by any means

and somehow they have 10 locations now. Wasn't the Metairie Road location the first?

I don't mind the shared concept idea

I do mind the Metairie Rd businesses not having more than 3 parking spots

Well, the pizza really sucks and is extremely greasy. At least their daiquiri machine was 85% alcohol/15% juice

Creole Creamery is the only place in that whole lot that gets business after 5pm

Felipe’s did it right. Buy once cry once

I’m not sure the slider craze has staying power. Maybe I’m missing something but what is the appeal?
