I'll be staying about 15 miles from Bradford in about 3 weeks. It's an absolute dump, but is close to some of the prettiest countryside in England. I cannot imagine being an Englishman and having to live amongst that.

What is it like in London? My beautiful niece will be there for 5 weeks this summer.

Right before Covid hit several of us in the family were planning a 2-3 week trip over to the UK, Scotland and Ireland to visit the ancestral homes of our family, of course everything was canceled. I still want to take the trip but after seeing the OP shite I think I need to get ahold of a local to show us around and what places to avoid.
