I mean, unless you were old enough to see him, most likely nobody will ever see a horse like Secretariat run in their lifetime. I doubt there will ever be another horse like him ever again.

American Pharaoh, though not the horse Secretariat was, was a treasure to watch. Justify's triple crown was fun to watch and a great horse obviously, but didn't have quite the shine to it since American Pharoah had just won the triple crown a few years before.

He was the superhorse of all time. Secretariat still owns the records at the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and the Belmont. It's been over 50 freakin' years and he still has all the records.

Flightline had the potential. It’s just hard to compare because of their drastically different development and racing history. The breed gets better every season. You never know.
