It is. The original idea was the move the track there instead of the basketball arena because at least basketball/volleyball could actually be ON campus instead of being a short drive away. The original numbers to move T&F to the golf course were lower and engineers came out and laughed at those projections.
Instead of spending $100mm to move T&F, they would rather spend probably $500mm to build basketball its own thing. Finally, we're going to use that awful golf course for something after all.
