I’d want both put back and also ask for more for the inconvenience of them trying to frick you in the arse.

Did you consider the possibility that the compensation was already built into whatever they offered?

Their offer was about 4-5% less than KBB and my mileage was about 15% less than average and the vehicle was in excellent condition. Until about 6 months prior, it was a 3rd vehicle and then I decided to drive it for a while.

I would have probably settled for the offer they made if they wanted to negotiate the "factory like" equipment EVEN with the upgraded wheels/tires. The fact that they actually told me that the upgrades are not considered in the offer and then turned it around when I took them off is complete bullshite! You can't play the game both ways just so it benefits you.

Dealerships are a bunch of crap anyway. I still kick myself for even wasting the time I did even visiting them for those couple hours.

Let us know the dealership so we never ever go there.

OP owes us that much.

Requested his "manager" in and explained what happened personally. Sales guy looked like he was pissing himself.
I hardly doubt having the manager there caused him to piss himself. He was just doing what the manager taught him to do!

Agreed
The car dealership usually don’t give you anything on upgrades especially aftermarket add ons

I'd walk.

Nobody stops at one lie.

I walked from a low-mile M550i b/c they lied about paintwork.

Name the dealership or it didn't happen.

Keep searching. They've probably hidden stuff even before removing the parts you caught.

Get y our tail back in here and tell us the dealer as well as what you’ve concluded you’ll do.

I would disagree with them and tell them they lost a sale. I bet someone bought a truck from them and the other buyer wanted those tires/rims and bed cover so they got them.

I would not only walk out but I would broadcast on social media who the dealership is and specifically what they did. This is no accident they did that on purpose and should be exposed

My son visited a couple of dealerships last Friday to look at a Honda Civic Type R. Salespersons are blowing up his phone today to have him come back and they can give him their best deal.

Dude, unless you need a diesel or one ton, if buying a used truck, 2021 and older Tundras, should be the only thing you're looking at.

Depends on the deal and if they seem sincere. I would be hesitant but buying a vehicle is a crap shoot no matter who you buy it from.

Compare first tires to second tires.
Huge difference or nominal difference?
Not that it really matters.just curious if it was really obvious.
