Have you never seen them live before? They are a tremendous live show, even if you don’t necessarily love their music.

We used to go see them at Mothers in Ruston in 1991 with the cokehead bass player. It was nuts. I think they are on their 5th or 6th bass player by now. They haven't been the same since Paul Sanchez left the band. Even the biggest Fred supporter can admit he gets pretty annoying.

I know the live schtick gets old, but the album " Are You With Me?" has some great songs on it.

They do put on a lively show. I have heard them a bunch of times, including several times as the closing act of the Endymion Extravaganza.
