First off, the DT’s you mentioned are all average players at best who got paid significantly higher than they are worth by three schools who have been struggling lately to stay relevant in college football. LSU could have easily matched or exceeded offers from those schools but chose not to because it would have been a terrible investment at that price. Is it a good idea to pay $80 for a jar of peanut butter at the store because your doctor said you need more protein?
