Interesting that they are disciplined at the plate resulting in fewer strikeouts, which is the strength of our pitchers. Strength vs strength. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I believe this was pretty similar to last year in regards to our pitchers were not having the greatest season besides Skenes and Floyd but their strikeout numbers remained high and Alabama was the fewest strikeout team. I remember the one guy they had for a long time who would choke up to basically half way up the bat when he got to 2 strikes. I think he either graduated or transferred last year.

Their bullpen does not seem to have near as many innings as our guys that may be because we do not have a guy who starts every Sunday whereas they seem too. Idk if its a good thing that their bullpen has less innings because they could be more fresh but also less experience.

Top arms out of the pen that we will likely see at some point-

Tyler Fay 6'5 RHP 6.96 era / 1-2 / 32 ip / 33 hits / 13 walks / 31 strikeouts

Braylon Myers 6'2 RHP 2.93 era / 2-1 / 27.2 ip / 20 hits / 8 walks / 22 strikeouts

Alton Davis II 6'5 LHP 4.94 era / 4-1 / 27.2 ip / 28 hits / 16 walks / 33 strikeouts (I remember this guy from last year. He was their big prospect arm that was a freshman and he had really good stats and I believe Travenski hit a go ahead home run vs him in the 8th or 9th. His stats aren't as impressive as last year going into the game but he is still considered a good prospect. Good frame from the left side and has some run with good velo.

Kade Snell 6'1 LHP 6.65 era / 1-0 / 21.2 ip / 27 hits / 13 walks / 21 strikeouts

Coulson Buchanan 5'10 RHP 7.76 era / 1-1 / 26.2 ip / 35 hits / 13 walks / 20 strikeouts

Aidan Moza 6'1 RHP 9.24 era / 2-2 / 25.1 ip / 32 hits / 16 walks / 35 strikeouts

Our bullpen has been flat out better in most the big categories than theirs. I will be interested to see who they throw in the game against Troy in the midweek as Troy is a top 25 team. I wouldn't be surprised if its one of those last 2 guys considering the stats aren't as good but they eat up a lot of innings. I expect swapping every 1-2 innings.
