That dude was the weirdest looking. Maybe that helped his jokes land.

And they didn't just land... they frickin smashed.

I feel like Andrew Schultz is being overlooked. He was funny AF too.

Schultz is probably the most versatile comedian working today. Good at roasts, good at standup, good at crowd work, funny on podcasts. decent at story telling.

A lot of them are one trick ponies:

Rife with crowdwork
Bert with storytelling
Dillon on podcasts, etc.

Just marathoned through this. None of the athletes were particularly funny. Funniest if I had to name one was probably Edelman because he had the best stuff written for him and he delivered it solidly.

But every single comedian absolutely KILLED. They were all fall on the floor hilarious

I guess you were on a bathroom break during Tom and Bert’s set. That was a hot mess. 4 years ago Bert was probably my favorite comedian going but his shtick has gotten old and down right annoying. Now I like Tom more than Bert and that’s something I wouldn’t have imagined saying a few years ago.

No they were hysterical and maybe had the funniest joke of the night when they were comparing Tom to Hitler and said - you can’t be Hitler, Hitlers wife stuck with him

Affleck was terrible. Burgundy was old and played out.

What was the Kim booing about specifically?

According to Dave Portnoy, the Kim booing was about him. But it's Portnoy, so everything is about him.

But something to do with Taylor Swift/Kanye, recorded phone call, Portnoy being a Swiftie and a Pats fan and Kim being the reason he wasn't invited to the roast.

They start talking about it around 10:00 in. Thankfully they have chapters
