I don’t think the Brady and Ross interaction was scripted and feel like Brady was actually mad. It was the only Kraft massage joke of the entire night and was an obvious joke topic. Had to have been on the no fly list.

Didn’t get that feeling at all with Hart last night.
3 hours was a little too long for me last night (watched it on replay) so I skipped Gronk, Randy Moss, and Bledsoe, but I guess I’m gonna have to go watch Drew’s set today.

yeah wayyyyy better than I thought it would be, didn't finish it last night but what I watched was good. Usually athlete ones are terrible because they don't tend to have very good senses of humor about themselves
post Patriots Tom is so much more likeable, spent too many years hating the guy.
Hart wasn't a good fit as host, tried to be edgier because its a roast and mostly fell flat. I did laugh when he was making fun of Gronk after the crypto joke.
Moss wasn't good but that's expected

this roast is about to skyrocket Tony like the roasts did for Jeselnik.
speaking of I wish Jeselnik did this i know he's a huge sports fan but he's said he's past roasts.
i love roasts so here are my top 5 sets.
1. Glaser - killed it from the first joke to the last.
"I mean, even Gronk was like: ‘Me know that not real money.’"
“Tom, the only thing dumber than you saying yes to this roast was when you said, hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu.”
“Your ex-wife’s new boyfriend can kick your arse while eating hers.”
2. Tony Hinchcliff - anyone not familiar with his game now is. he's so quick witted and made for roasts. i liken him to a Greg Giraldo. “Sam Jay everybody, killed. An obese African-American lesbian. So by having her, Netflix checked off a lot of boxes. She’s a black lesbo, which means she doesn’t eat pussy, she aw hell (g)naws on it.”
3. Edelman - you could tell he was enjoying himself and i think he wrote a lot of his material himself. my favorite was "Fun fact: Jeff and I are both Jewish. The difference is I’m the kind of Jew that people look and go, ‘Oh, he’s Jewish?’ And Jeff’s the kind of Jew that makes you want to join Hamas."
4. Jeff Ross - what can i see he still has it. coming out in the OJ in Hell jersey then going right after Kraft with the massage joke. “‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made. Would you like a massage?’”
5. Bill Belichick - whoever wrote his material did a damn good job. he leaned into his tough demeanor which made his delivery of the jokes a lot funnier than they may normally have been.
“For all of you out there that think about who’s responsible for the Patriots’ success during the time when Tom and I were there: Was it Brady? Was it me? Was it Brady? Was it me? In reality, the truth of the matter is it was both of us. Because of me.”
