This is nonsense. No one ever succeeded at canceling him. Peng Deng is a nobody and Killy Tony is more popular than ever.

That was fantastic 
It was pretty odd how off limits Robert Kraft apparently was though. From Brady’s reaction to Ross’ joke to Hart implying everyone should lay off him it really stuck out as a bit odd. Like you can’t invite a guy with THAT story to the roast if you don’t want it brought up.

Brady walking up seemed like a planned bit. He was yucking it up when he got back to his seat

Katt.Williams....Well he's always high as a kite but he did expose Oprah and Diddy....and he's, a real comic.
Kevin Hart sucks, had no real background, according to comics and others like Joe Rogan explain but suddenly Hart was in Arenas.
If it was based on talent he wouldn't have been the Roast host. It should've been Ross....or people who are actually funny. Hart had no real backstory chops and suddenly he's in movies, he doesn't write his own material. Real comics can't stand him as an industry plant who says whatever they tell him to say.

I told the wife going in that this will bomb basically because Brady is not that interesting, awkward, and not much personality off the field.
Boy was I wrong. One of the best things I’ve watched in a long time.

I agree on Hart, I don’t think Katt was lying about him. Hart is an industry plant 100%. You’re telling me he rose to stardom from his bit part in Scary Movie 3? Yeah right. Hart wasn’t bad last night though but he does come off as that insecure comedian that can dish it but as soon as you crush him with a joke “you’ve taken it too far.”
Edelman and Bledsoe did really well. Nikki and Tony crushed. Bert may be the most annoying comedian of all time. Would’ve loved to have seen Giraldo and Patrice on that roast. That’s probably the best celebrity roast since those guys were alive honestly.

I didn’t have high expectations for it either but it was really good, especially them doing it live. But that made it even better IMO.
It was the most mainstream anti-woke/cancel culture thing put out in years. And the fact they kinda kept acknowledging it throughout the whole show was great. It was an old school roast with no agenda and no topic off limit.
Can’t wait for the next one
